    2. Ragia Falls

We love water!

Ragia Falls is a scenic waterfall in Aberdare National Park near Sasumua Dam. It offers a moderate yet challenging hike for experienced hikers, leading through lush forests and culminating in a breathtaking 70-meter waterfall.

The hike starts near Sasumua Dam through China’s Camp Gate, venturing into a 2km forest road. The trail winds through a captivating bamboo forest with uneven terrain and elephant paths. As you go deeper into the forest, the trail takes a dramatic turn, descending steeply to Sasumua River to access the stunning Ragia Waterfalls. For the adventurous souls, dip in the swimming holes near the base of the falls.
