Beautiful Trek

The Namanga Hills, also known as Ol Donyo Orok, offer a scenic and moderately challenging hike for those seeking a taste of adventure near the Kenya-Tanzania border. The hike starts near the entrance of Namanga River Lodge on the western side of the mountain. This path winds its way up along the Namanga River, offering beautiful scenery of clear mountain waters, boulders sculpted by time, and caves carved into the rocks. As you gain altitude, the vegetation transitions from dry and scrubby to thicker forests. You'll get a chance to admire the sprawling semi-arid plains below, spot nearby Mount Longido in Tanzania, and even catch a glimpse of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day.
