A Hidden Gem

Rhino Hill is a new trail that can be accessed through Table Mountain or Seven Ponds. This traverse challenge is for experienced hikers who are seeking scenic and strenuous adventure than the usual Seven Ponds- Table Mountain Traverse.

The initial ascent, 6.5 km, starts at Kwa Matu and climbs steeply to Seven Ponds. The traverse to Rhino Hill, 3km, begins with bushwhacking across the bogs, followed by a challenging climb to the summit. We descend through the golden moorland to Table Mountain summit. The final challenge is a 5.5km steep descent to Kwa Matu
